The following diagram illustrates the deployment requirements of the OPES PDM software, utilizing tablet devices within a wireless network accessing the internet.

@PURPOSE:

The Tablet devices need to communicate to the OPES PDM remote server via a secure wireless connection. The wireless connection enables the Tablet user the freedom of mobility while being connected to the clinic network to access the internet.

@PROMISE:

The security will be handled by the wireless routing device. Access to the network will be gained by only the MAC addresses of the designated wireless enabled devices. The wireless router will only serve as an access point and will have all routing features disabled.
